How to find us
By car
If you are traveling by car, take the A2 motorway Hannover-Oberhausen and take the Gütersloh/Verl exit.
- Turn right at the crossroad immediately after leaving the motorway
- Drive right through the Spexard area
- Turn right onto the Stadring Sundern (Sundern ring road) at the first major crossroad after Spexard (signpost reads: Bielefeld, Gütersloh-Nord, Bertelsmann/Miele)
- Turn right again at the third crossroad onto Carl-Bertelsmann-Strasse (signpost reads: Avenwedde, Friedrichsdorf, Bertelsmann)
- The Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA building will be on your right side
By train
Intercity trains traveling in the direction of Bielefeld and Hamm ICE train stations stop in Gütersloh.
By plane
The nearest airport is the Paderborn/Lippstadt regional airport in Ahden (approx. 45 km from Gütersloh). From there, take the following directions to reach Gütersloh by car:
- Bundesstrasse 1 towards Paderborn
- Then take the A 33 towards Bielefeld
- At the Bielefeld junction, take the A2 towards Dortmund until you reach the Gütersloh/Verl exit
- See “By car” above for further directions
The largest airport in the near vicinity is Hannover (approx. 120 km from Gütersloh). From there, take the train to Gütersloh or go by car via the A2 (see above).
