RTL Group – Quality Entertainment on all Stations

Anke Schäferkordt
Chief Executive Officer,
RTL Group

“RTL Group is a house of excellent content and powerful brands, which is able to deliver its content to all media platforms worldwide and to repeat its broadcasting success story in every country while fulfilling its obligation to the society.”
With a television or a radio, even the smallest room becomes a window to the world. That is why there are more television sets on the planet than cars – and why more households own a TV than a telephone. Anyone who switches on a television set or radio is likely to encounter RTL Group very quickly. Europe's largest broadcasting and production company operates television and radio stations in ten different countries, and is one of the world's leading content producers.
Television
Each day, more than 170 million viewers in Europe watch TV channels operated by RTL Group: RTL Television, Super RTL, Vox or N-TV in Germany; M6 in France; Antena 3 in Spain, RTL 4 in the Netherlands; RTL TVI in Belgium; and RTL Klub in Hungary to name only a few. The programs are undeniably compelling, offering up-to-date information and gripping entertainment for all ages and interest groups.
Radio
RTL Group has written European radio history with Radio Luxembourg and the RTL brand. Today, its radio stations are still among Europe's most popular. RTL in France, 104.6 RTL (Berlin) and Bel RTL in Belgium reach millions of listeners each day.
Content
Appealing content is the key to successful television. RTL Group’s content production arm, Fremantle Media produces more than 10,000 hours of programming every year. In 22 countries, Fremantle Media creates and produces a range of award-winning programmes including primetime drama, serial drama, entertainment, factual and comedy. With programming rights in about 150 countries, Fremantle Media is also the largest independent TV distribution company outside the United States. RTL Group's TV channels are among the Internet's leading brands: RTL.de, M6.fr and rtl.nl attract millions of visitors each month.
