"Employee skills and qualifications determine the success of the company." Based on this realization, Reinhard Mohn founded the Bertelsmann publishing company’s private vocational school over 50 years ago, laying the foundations for Bertelsmann Group’s present-day system of education and training.

 

Bertelsmann faces major challenges arising from demographic change, increased globalization and a changing media landscape. These can only be overcome with well-trained staff. Therefore, training and continuing education is an effective investment for the future, both for individual employees and for Bertelsmann as a whole.

Bertelsmann has a wide variety of offerings for all groups targeted by personnel development: graduates can choose between traditional training in commercial and industrial sectors as well as Bachelor's programs. The individual companies and divisions provide an extensive range of professional and personal development options for all employees.
