Annual Document according to § 10 German Securities Prospectus Act

According to Sec. 10 of the German Securities Prospectus Act (Wertpapierprospektgesetz, WpPG), the issuer of securities with admission to an organized market, is required to publish a document at least once each year that either includes or refers to all information the company has published or made publicly available during the previous twelve months due to specific capital market regulations. Due to the issuance of the Profit Participation Certificates and Bonds, which are listed on an organized market, Bertelsmann AG has to fulfil the requirements of the German Securities Prospectus Act.

In the period between January 01, 2011 and March 28, 2012 (publication of the annual report 2011) Bertelsmann AG (since August 20, 2012: Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA) published the following information and documents.
