Random House Team Runs In New York’s Biggest Corporate Challenge Race
Some seventy Random House, Inc. employees participated in the 29th annual JP Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge race in
"Random House considers the Corporate Challenge a wonderful way to bring employees together while at the same time showing our commitment to the community. We always have a great turn out and continuously hear back how much fun everyone has each year," said Vicki Fishman of Random House’s Human Resources department, who organized the vent for the company. Random House always sponsors its employees’ participation in the race and designs a team T-shirt for everyone to wear. This year’s shirt was designed by Chuck Micucci of Random House Children’s Books. Josh Cohen of Knopf and Jessica Fink of the Sales Group came up with the shirt’s "Just Book It!" slogan. Before and after the race Wednesday night, team members gathered in the Random House-reserved spot under the company banner to munch on three-mile sustenance goody bags, rally the team and most importantly, cheer each other on.
Suzanne Bouchard of Random House Children’s Books served as team captain and said, "The Corporate Challenge is always a great way to get together as a company outside of the office, get to know one another, and enjoy Central Park in the summer. Once again, everyone was really enthusiastic and happy to be part of our terrific team." Doubleday’s Stacy Creamer was the first female master (or female over 40) and eleventh female overall to cross the finish line, completing the 3.5 mile course in
