French 'Gala' Supports UNICEF With Luxurious Star Calendar

The end of the year is near and it is time to buy a calendar for 2006. The French Gruner + Jahr magazine "Gala" is now offering an especially luxurious one to its readers: a black-and-white calendar with photographs of actress Diana Kruger. "Gala" will donate one euro to UNICEF France from each copy sold.


Starting November 30, 2005 a total of 30,000 calendars will be sold in combination with issue 651 of "Gala." The double pack will be offered in 6,000 stores throughout France for a price of €7.90. Star photographer Christophe Meimoon shot the photos of Diana Kruger. The proceeds will be used for the education of girls worldwide.
