France: RTL Radio Awards Jean-Baptiste Dumas Traineeship to Students

This year’s winners of the Jean-Baptiste Dumas scholarship granted by the French radio station RTL Radio are the journalism students Georges Brenier, 26, Audrey Savournin, 26, and Adrein Borne, 24. Axel Duroux, Président du Directoire at RTL Radio, and Robert Namias, Directeur Général adjoint en charge de l’information at TF1 and the chair of the panel of judges, presented the awards to the students: a one-year and three-month traineeship at the radio station respectively.

The prize has been awarded annually since 1995 in remembrance of the RTL reporter Jean-Baptiste Dumas, who has been missing since 1992. Applicants for the prize must have written a successful composition on a specific topic.
