M6 Mobilizes For Anti-AIDS Campaign

Once again, the Sidaction campaign aims to heighten awareness of the French people for the still necessary fight against AIDS, and again the Groupe M6 is one of the campaign's most significant supporters. It is significant because the success of this fight essentially depends on education. Here, a group of channels can clearly make valuable contributions given the millions of people that can be reached. All of the company's channels will therefore dedicate parts of their programming to the campaign and the subject of AIDS.

In the week starting March 26, M6 will report about AIDS research, prevention against the immunodeficiency disease and living with the disease. Some of the most famous hosts of M6 and W9 dedicated their time for a video clip, which will be broadcast on March 29 during primetime: Karine Le Marchand, Xavier de Moulins, and Stéphane Plaza of M6 along with Faustine Bollaert, Marie-Ange Casalta, and Camille Combal of W9 were all involved.

M6 is also mobilizing for the anti-AIDS campaign in the digital world: several of the company's websites are turning their attention to the disease and the Sidaction campaign by offering information, assistance, and education. The editors have compiled and researched the appropriate materials especially for Sidaction and approach the subject of AIDS from entirely different angles.
