Fundación Bertelsmann Organizes Conference

Last week, Fundación Bertelsmann together with the Social Impact Analyst Association (SIAA), the Spanish association of foundations, Stone Soup, Fundación Botín and Philantropic Intelligence organized a conference during which embers from 80 nonprofit organizations discussed the social impact measurement in Spain.

During the conference, various methods of social impact measurement were presented, and reports were given about various examples from Spain and abroad and the experiences gained in them. According to the Fundación, the event aimed to promote an exchange of information, encourage a closer cooperation between experts in the nonprofit sector and to develop a solid basis for the further development of the social impact analysis in Spain.

A number of renowned foundations and companies participated in the conference, among them La Caixa, KPMG, the foundations PwC, Tomillo, Telefónica, Vodafone Spain, Repsol, Ferrocarriles Españoles and Barrié as well as the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA).
