This year's international Employee Survey at Bertelsmann once again saw top participation rates. Group-wide, 88.7 percent of the invited employees took the opportunity to help shape their company by completing the questionnaires.

"The fact that so many colleagues once again participated in the Employee Survey is to be rated as a huge success,” said Bertelsmann’s Chief HR Officer Immanuel Hermreck. "It shows that employees at our existing as well as new businesses value the instrument and use it to actively participate in their company’s further development. This is a clear sign of partnership in action. On behalf of the Bertelsmann Executive Board, too, I would like to say thank you for this interest, and for the outstanding efforts of everyone involved in the project at company, divisional and corporate level, and wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and a good start to the new year."

The next step will be focused on working with the results, which are expected to be available in mid-March. As part of this follow-up process, executives at all levels, together with their teams, are called on to analyze the results. The idea is to jointly identify potential for improvement and to define specific measures. The results will also be worked on intensively at company level. The respective managing directors will inform their employees about the company-level results through in-house media or at a company meeting.
