Liz Mohn Named Honorary Citizen of the City of Gütersloh
Mayor Henning Schulz presented the letter of honorary citizenship to Liz Mohn at a celebratory extraordinary session of the town council on December 16, 2017. This marks the first time the Gütersloh council has bestowed its highest municipal award on a woman. The award pays tribute to the great personal services Liz Mohn has rendered to Gütersloh. Wolfgang Schüssel, Austria’s Chancellor from 2000 to 2007, gave the welcome address at the event.
