About us

An Eventful History

By reconstructing the Classicistic façade of the City Commandant's Headquarters, Bertelsmann closed an architectural gap in the urban landscape. This striking building, rebuilt on its historic original site in the heart of Berlin and opened in 2003, provides a reminder of the location's eventful history.

The Interior

The contrast with the reconstructed façade is intentional and extends across all three stories. Modern design and future-proof technology dominate the building's interior.
