2hearts is a network that supports and brings together international talent in the tech sector. Bertelsmann has been part of the network for a year. Now, employees from all corporate divisions can participate in the program as mentors. The network’s mentoring program helps people from numerous countries shape their career paths in Germany.

Over a period of six months – also called “batch” – each mentor accompanies one mentee. In regular meetings, which can take place in person or online, mentors share their experiences, provide guidance, and offer career perspectives to the mentees. The meetings can be scheduled at self-selected intervals, for example once to twice a month. In this way, the program offers all participants insights into different realities of life, new perspectives, and opportunities for personal growth.

New Year’s event in Berlin

For mentors and mentees, the annual 2hearts New Year’s event at Bertelsmann Unter den Linden 1 in Berlin is a special highlight. This year, by hosting the event, Bertelsmann sent a signal for the continuing promotion of dialogue, networking, and collaboration.

Last year, numerous colleagues took part in the batch. Mentors included, among others, Pierrot Raschdorff, Senior Director Global Corporate Responsibility at BMG; Göksun Tan, Vice President Strategy Execution at Arvato; Tatjana Anisimov, Lead Innovation & Product Manager at RTL Deutschland; Sidharth Ramachandran, Senior Director, Knowledge Engineering at RTL Deutschland; Tarik Mekki, Vice President Key Account Management atbei Arvato; Jin Lee, Director Global Learning & Talent Development at BMG, and Erkan Uysal, Lawyer at Bertelsmann.
