The vinyl manufacturer will now offer Sonopress’s eco-friendly LP to its U.S. customers.

Sonopress, an international media manufacturer and subsidiary of Bertelsmann Marketing Services, has announced a new partnership with Gotta Groove Records, a renowned U.S.-based vinyl production company. As part of the collaboration, Gotta Groove Records will begin offering Sonopress’s innovative “Eco Record” – an environmentally friendly long-playing record – to its customers across the United States.

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with additional facilities in Columbus, Ohio, Gotta Groove Records is well known for its high-quality vinyl production and longstanding commitment to sustainability. Under the leadership of CEO Matt Earley, the company provides a full range of services including lacquer cutting, plating, and vinyl pressing. Under the new partnership, Gotta Groove Records will now add the “Eco Record” – produced by Sonopress in both the U.S. and Germany – to its product portfolio.

“An ideal partner”

The idea for this collaboration was born during the open house event marking the launch of Sonopress’s first “Eco Record” production line in Charlotte, North Carolina. Representatives from both companies met there to discuss the future of sustainable LP manufacturing. “We are very excited to partner with Gotta Groove Records,” said Sven Deutschmann, CEO of Sonopress. “Matt Earley and his team share our passion for quality and sustainability. Their reputation and many years of experience in the U.S. market make them the ideal partner to help bring our ‘Eco Record’ to a wider audience of artists, labels, and environmentally conscious music fans.”

“A compelling innovation”

“Sustainability has been a core part of our company’s philosophy from the very beginning,” added Matt Earley, CEO of Gotta Groove Records. “The ‘Eco Record’ is a compelling innovation that aligns perfectly with our mission. We’re proud to work with Sonopress and to offer this product to our customers.” The first production runs for U.S. clients have already been successfully completed – an important step toward more sustainable LP production in North America.
