Corporate responsibility and transparency go hand in hand, as transparent reporting builds trust: Entrepreneurial activity is becoming more credible and easier to compare. Bertelsmann regularly documents its progress and aligns its reporting, for example, with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact. Our performance is regularly assessed by ESG rating agencies.

UN Global Compact Communication on Progress

Bertelsmann has participated in the UN Global Compact since 2010. The ten principles covering human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption provide guidance for the implementation of our corporate responsibility.
