Arvato Acquires Think Logistics In Canada

Arvato’s North American fulfillment platform now spans the US and Canada.

Arvato has acquired Think Logistics, a Canadian logistics company that the global supply chain management and e-commerce service provider has successfully worked with in the US in recent years. The company said the transaction marks Arvato’s entry into the Canadian market and integrates the business into a more unified North American fulfillment structure. This will enable clients to operate aligned supply chains across the United States and Canada, Arvato said. The transaction reinforces Arvato’s long-term strategy to build regionally integrated logistics platforms in strategically relevant markets and help companies turn supply chain complexity into a competitive advantage.

Sustainable growth and operational excellence

The acquisition is expected to accelerate Arvato’s expansion in one of the world’s most dynamic e-commerce and retail regions. As cross-border trade grows increasingly complex and customer expectations continue to rise, global brands require technology-enabled fulfillment platforms that combine scale, precision, and local market expertise. By combining Think Logistics’ Canadian operations with its established US presence, Arvato strengthens its ability to deliver consistent cross-border execution across key North American markets.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Think Logistics is a technology-driven third-party logistics provider offering end-to-end supply chain solutions. The company serves national and international clients in sectors including e-commerce, retail, fashion, and high-tech. According to Arvato, Think Logistics has demonstrated sustainable growth and operational excellence in the Canadian market through advanced warehouse technologies, strong omnichannel expertise, and a customer-focused corporate culture.

“Entering the Canadian market is not simply geographic expansion. It is a strategic move to integrate Canada into our platform,” said Frank Schirrmeister, CEO of Arvato. “Think Logistics combines technology, operational strength and entrepreneurial mindset. Together, we are creating a seamless cross-border operating model that enables global brands to scale faster, reduce complexity and increase resilience across the U.S. and Canada.”

Consistent service standards across borders

Think Logistics brings extensive expertise in omnichannel and e-commerce fulfillment, value-added services, and retail distribution. With strategically located sites across Canada, the company complements Arvato’s North American infrastructure by adding nationwide coverage and scalable operational capacity. Think Logistics’ technological capabilities and flexible operating model complement Arvato’s global network and its industry-specific supply chain solutions. The combined platform enables coordinated inventory positioning, coordinated distribution, and consistent service standards across borders.

The partnership between Arvato and Think Logistics has evolved successfully over recent years, providing a strong foundation for fast, structured integration. Both companies share a commitment to innovation, operational precision, and long-term client relationships. “Our collaboration with Arvato has already demonstrated the value of combining local expertise with global scale,” said Robert Hashimoto, President of Think Logistics. “Joining Arvato allows us to further strengthen our technology-driven solutions within an international network while preserving our client-focused culture. Together, we are well positioned to support the next phase of growth in North America.”
