Arvato Takes Up Operations at New Site in Turkey

Logistics facility in Kocaeli aims to support international fashion and e-commerce brands.

Arvato, the provider of supply chain and e-commerce solutions, has taken up operations at a new site in Çayırova in the province of Kocaeli in the northwest of Turkey to support international fashion and e-commerce brands with managing growing order volumes, shorter delivery expectations, and increasingly complex omnichannel demands while maintaining high-quality customer experience. According to Arvato, the company now operates 12 logistics centers in Türkiye and continues to expand its regional logistics network.

Focus on fast-moving and high-volume fashion operations

The 50,000 sqm greenfield facility has been specifically designed to support fast-moving and high-volume fashion operations with scalable fulfillment capabilities and integrated value-added services. The site enables brands to react more flexibly to seasonal peaks, shifting consumer demand and increasing personalization requirements while ensuring reliable and efficient supply chain execution.

With dedicated Value-Added Services (VAS) infrastructure, the site supports a broad range of customized processes including embroidery, printing, tunnel steaming, labeling and tailored packaging applications. Combined with integrated return management and quality control services, the facility helps brands create a consistent end-customer experience across all sales channels. The new operation strengthens Arvato’s ability to support international and local fashion brands expanding their e-commerce activities in Türkiye and the wider region. Approximately 900 new jobs will be created through the investment.

“A powerful testament to our confidence in the Turkish market”

“While managing ten-thousands of orders every day, we are a part of the experience that reaches our clients’ end customers, operating with the awareness that we package happiness with every single order,” says Umur Özkal, Managing Director of Arvato Türkiye & UAE. “Our new site ‘Platform C3’ is a powerful testament to our confidence in the Turkish market and our long-term growth vision. With this investment, we are not just expanding our capacity but also building a strong logistics infrastructure that meets the fashion industry's expectations for speed, flexibility, and high quality.”

‘Platform C3’ was engineered with a strong focus on operational resilience, employee safety and sustainability. The facility was built using the Alasawa technique in accordance with Japanese seismic standards to address Türkiye’s seismic conditions and exceeds standard industry practices in terms of fire protections for logistics facilities.

High environmental standards

According to the company, the site also contributes to Arvato’s climate targets through several energy-efficiency measures. A rooftop solar power plant will cover a significant share of the site’s electricity demand through renewable energy. LED lighting systems, high-insulation building materials and efficiency-oriented mechanical systems further reduce the facility’s overall energy intensity and carbon footprint.
