Bertelsmann has opened applications for the 18th edition of “Talent Meets Bertelsmann.” Students from across Europe can now apply until May 3. From June 29 to July 1, 2026, selected talents will gather at Bertelsmann ‘Unter den Linden’ in Berlin to work with executives from across the Group on entrepreneurial challenges and build valuable connections. The event is part of the employer branding initiative “Create Your Own Career.”
Immanuel Hermreck, Bertelsmann’s Chief Human Resources Officer, said: “‘Talent Meets Bertelsmann’ brings motivated students together with decision-makers from across the company. Each year, we are inspired by the energy and fresh perspectives participants bring to tackling current challenges. The event lets them experience Bertelsmann up close – and gives us the chance to identify exceptional talent early on.”
Since its first edition, “Talent Meets Bertelsmann” has become a fixture in the European university calendar. Around 200 former participants have since joined Bertelsmann. The steadily growing alumni network now includes more than 900 members who stay connected through regular events and networking opportunities.
During the three-day event, students work in interdisciplinary teams on hands-on case studies from Bertelsmann’s international media, services, and education businesses. They present their results to a high-caliber jury composed of Executive Board members and top managers from across the Group. In addition to attractive prizes, all participants benefit from long-term coaching and access to the international alumni network.
