Impressions from the UFA Film Nights 2025

Around 300 guests attended an exclusive reception on the roof terrace of Bertelsmann Unter den Linden in Berlin to mark the start of the UFA Film Nights 2025. After sunset, the audience was able to take a look inside the historic Wintergarten, Berlin’s legendary 1920s variety theater, on the nearby Berlin Museum Island. The film shown at the opening this year was the digitally restored version of the F.W. Murnau Foundation of Ewald André Dupont's drama VARIETY (VARIETÉ ) (1925), which was enjoyed by around a thousand silent film enthusiasts. The evening was accompanied by live music from the UFA Syncopators: Küspert & Kollegen to a composition by Werner Küspert and Richard Siedhoff.
