RTL Deutschland's Sky Sport channel will continue to broadcast every MotoGP Grand Prix, Tissot Sprint, qualifying session, and practice session live, along with every Moto2 and Moto3 race and session. The new agreement begins with the 2027 season and covers all distribution platforms. In Germany, the rights are fully exclusive across pay TV and – for the first time – selected races on free TV. The agreement also includes pay-TV rights for Austria and Switzerland. As a result, RTL Deutschland will reinforce its position as the home of MotoGP in Germany, offering the world's premier motorcycle racing championship exclusively on pay TV while bringing selected races to free TV for the first time.
Pay-TV rights for Austria and Switzerland also extended
The new agreement includes every MotoGP Grand Prix, Tissot Sprint, qualifying session, and practice session, all of which will continue to air live on Sky Sport from 2027 through 2030. It also covers every Moto2 and Moto3 race and session, which will remain part of Sky Sport's comprehensive live coverage. In addition, the rights package includes the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup, the Northern Talent Cup, and the Red Bull Rookies Cup, featuring 16-year-old German rising star Fynn Kratochwil. Selected races will also be shown on free TV. Beyond the fully exclusive German rights, RTL Deutschland has also secured long-term extensions of the pay-TV rights for Austria and Switzerland.

The broadcasting rights apply across all distribution platforms in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. They also include public-viewing rights for restaurants, hotels, and other public venues through Sky Business.
