We are once again celebrating the diversity and creativity that define our company – our motto: ‘Bertelsmann is all this and more,’. Especially in challenging times, the broad positioning of our businesses is a real strength. We want people to experience just how wide-ranging our company is – with its TV formats, top authors, and stars from film and music, as well as innovative services, education, and global digital investments.”
Hosts Liz Mohn and Thomas Rabe are again expecting a wide range of prominent guests this year, including actors Gisa Zach, Nina Petri, Anne Menden, Mariella Ahrens, and Bettina Zimmermann, as well as Kai Wiesinger, Götz Otto, Francis Fulton-Smith, Oliver Korittke, Heiner Lauterbach, and Erol Sander. From the media world, attendees will include Frauke Ludowig, Pinar Atalay, Sylvie Meis, Sophia Thomalla, Daniela Katzenberger, Janin Ullmann, Katja Burkard, and Hans Mahr, as well as Noah Becker, Jan Köppen, Martin Rütter, Jochen Schropp, and Jürgen von der Lippe.
Authors Hera Lind, Stefanie Stahl, Wladimir Kaminer, Daniel Kehlmann, Marcus Rafelsberger, and Dietrich Grönemeyer will also be in attendance, along with social media stars Lisa and Henry Walser, Tara-Louise Wittwer, Marie von den Benken, and Fabian Grischkat.
From the world of sports, guests will include Regina Halmich, Otto Rehhagel, former gymnast Philipp Boy, boxing promoter Wilfried Sauerland, and soccer commentator Robert Hunke. The world of federal politics will also be well represented: Among those who have announced their attendance are the President of the German Bundestag, Julia Klöckner (CDU); the Federal Minister of Education and Research, Karin Prien (CDU); The Federal Minister of Research, Technology and Space, Dorothee Bär (CDU); and the Minister of State for Culture and the Media, Wolfram Weimer. Numerous members of the Bundestag are expected, including former Vice President Wolfgang Kubicki (FDP); the CDU/CSU parliamentary group chairman Jens Spahn; the parliamentary group chair of Alliance 90/The Greens, Britta Haßelmann; deputy CDU/CSU parliamentary group chairman Norbert Röttgen; the member of parliament Dietmar Bartsch (Left). Also attending will be CDU Secretary General Carsten Linnemann. In addition, several ambassadors have confirmed their attendance.
Prominent business representatives on this year’s guest list include Regine Sixt, Florian Langenscheidt, Stefan Dohler, Agnes Heftberger, and Clemens Tönnies.
Guests will be welcomed with this year’s party motto as soon as they step onto the red carpet: “Bertelsmann is all this and more” appears as the central graphic element along the entrance wall and runs like a common thread through the entire party décor. Extending through the stairwell is an illuminated installation of printed fabric panels and large Plexiglas boards featuring the words “Bertelsmann is all this and more” as a photo collage by Jim Rakete. Rising from the ground floor to the roof, it picks up the party’s visual theme across all levels. Décor highlights such as seating and fabrics in a blue-violet-orange gradient complete the house’s overall look. On the popular rooftop terrace of Bertelsmann Unter den Linden 1, the view extends not only over Berlin Cathedral, the Berlin Palace, and the magnificent nearby museums, but also over the three terms “Watch,” “Read,” and “Listen.” Each stands for a Global Content company, with collages of motifs from RTL Group, Penguin Random House, and BMG. A DJ and cocktail bar round out the setting and ensure a lively party atmosphere.
Guests at the Bertelsmann Party 2025 will also be indulged with culinary highlights: lobster, Wagyu beef, and vegetarian three-chamber ravioli, along with Hamachi tartare, smoked veal vitello, and even watermelon sashimi. WoopWoop ice cream, freshly prepared live with liquid nitrogen, will bring the evening to a flavorful close.
Starting at around 7:00 p.m., as the red carpet flashbulbs light up, a livestream will allow everyone to follow the arrival of guests and the party atmosphere inside, broadcast on Bertelsmann’s Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok channels, on RTL+, and at Bertelsmann.com. Afterwards, the livestream will be available as a recording on the Bertelsmann homepage and for 30 days on RTL+. Multi-talented hosts Toni Scheurlen and Marc Dumitru will moderate the 90-minute livestream.
The Bertelsmann Party 2025 will be carbon neutral. At least 80 percent of all materials used will be reused or recycled. Plastic décor will either be stored for future use or reprocessed by specialist companies.
