Gütersloh, June 3, 2025 – The international media, services, and education company Bertelsmann aims to increase its revenues to more than 24 billion euros in the medium term. The company set the course for this at its most recent management meeting at its home base in Gütersloh, with Bertelsmann CEO Thomas Rabe speaking in front of 500 of the Group’s top executives, who had traveled to the meeting from six continents and 30 countries.

Bertelsmann Chairman & CEO Thomas Rabe said: “We have successfully executed our Boost strategy in recent years – by the end of 2026, Boost investments will total around €8 billion. The results are already evident: Despite the challenging macroeconomic environment, Bertelsmann is delivering strong margins and growth and is in a solid financial position. Our portfolio is broadly diversified across businesses and regions, and we have massively expanded our U.S. businesses over the past 10 years.”

Rabe continued: “Bertelsmann is well positioned and has plenty of opportunities for further growth in the years ahead, both organically and through acquisitions. We are on track to increase our consolidated revenues to over €24 billion in the medium term.”

Besides Thomas Rabe, Bertelsmann Executive Board members Carsten Coesfeld, Thomas Coesfeld, Rolf Hellermann, and Immanuel Hermreck, as well as other senior managers, presented on the topics of growth, transformation, creativity, artificial intelligence, and leadership. The Management Meeting is the sixth international gathering hosted by Bertelsmann at its headquarters in Gütersloh since 2012 at Thomas Rabe’s invitation.

The Bertelsmann Management Meeting was designed around the theme “Bertelsmann is all this and more – by Jim Rakete.” Renowned photographer Jim Rakete had captured his view of Bertelsmann’s diversity in 23 large-format black-and-white photographs. While the originals are on display in a permanent exhibition at the Corporate Center, Rakete’s visuals were also on prominent view at the executives’ meeting at the Theater Gütersloh.
