Tree Fu Tom nominated for Environmental Media Association Award
The animated fantasy adventure show Tree Fu Tom has been shortlisted for this year’s Environmental Media Association Awards (EMA), which honour film and TV productions that convey environmental messages in the most creative and influential ways.
The FremantleMedia format is nominated in the ‘Children’s TV’ category for an episode in which Tom, the main character, has to act quickly to undo the environmental damage he has unknowingly caused during an annual cleaning day in the magical kingdom of Treeopolis.
It is the second recent award nomination for Tree Fu Tom, which was already shortlisted for “Best Preschool Licensed Property” in the Licensing Awards in London on 10 September.
The winners will be announced at the EMA Award ceremony on 19 October.
