Nitro To Broadcast Top European Championship Qualifying Matches

Between September and June, the Cologne-based broadcaster Nitro will broadcast a total of ten exciting qualifying matches for the 2024 European Soccer Championship - live and on free TV. The first four match days will already see top-class teams competing against each other.

The TV channel Nitro, part of RTL Deutschland, is stepping up as a partner of the European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024 and will broadcast one top encounter on each matchday from September to June - on free TV and as a livestream on RTL+. The agreement covers ten broadcasts of exciting international soccer matches on Nitro, including two playoff matches in March 2024.

Top-class teams on the first four match days

“We are delighted that the European Qualifiers will once again be shown live on Nitro, especially ahead of the eagerly anticipated European Championship in Germany,” said Oliver Schablitzki, Executive Vice President Multichannel at RTL Deutschland. “With England, Italy, France, the Netherlands and Portugal, the upcoming qualifiers are full of national teams with title ambitions, but who have yet to earn their tickets to UEFA EURO 2024 – and it can all be watched exclusively on free TV on Nitro.”

The first four match days will already see top-class teams competing against each other. The 2018 world champions will kick off the tournament on September 7, with France facing Ireland in Paris. The 2016 European champions – Portugal – welcome the Luxembourg team on September 11 in Faro-Loulé. In October, Nitro will present two absolute soccer classics: On October 13, Netherlands vs. France in Amsterdam, and on October 17, the UEFA EURO 2020 grand final rematch between England and Italy in London. All four Nitro broadcasts start at 8:15 p.m., with the matches kicking off at 8:45 p.m.
