To mark Liz Mohn’s 85th birthday on June 21, Bertelsmann is presenting the City of Gütersloh with the renovation of the playground on Yorckstraße in Mohns Park. The spacious playground area will be transformed into a modern and attractive recreational and play space for children and families.
As part of the modernization, the playground’s swing area will be redesigned. A modern swing combination will be integrated into an upgraded play area and complemented by new seating and recreation spaces as well as additional trees. The aim is to create a more functional layout for the play equipment and make the playground more attractive for children and their caregivers.

The modernization is being carried out in close coordination with the City of Gütersloh and is scheduled for completion in fall 2026.
