The History Room of the Bertelsmann and Mohn Families
Bertelsmann is an internationally active media, services, and education company today. Bertelsmann's nucleus, however, was a Protestant publishing house dedicated entirely to the program of the East Westphalian Awakening movement. The History Room at the Corporate Center in Gütersloh helps to render this milieu tangible. It was inaugurated in 1976, when the Group moved into its newly built headquarters.
