Responsible action – in business, vis-à-vis employees, in society, and in dealing with the environment – is firmly anchored in Bertelsmann’s corporate culture – which is why the Bertelsmann Essentials codify social responsibility as a core value for all the company’s employees, executives and shareholders. Our aim is to reconcile the Group’s economic interests with social and environmental concerns, in dialog with all relevant stakeholders. With this in mind, Bertelsmann is constantly working to strategically evolve its sustainability management. Cross-divisional coordination and collaboration are on the agenda, as are Group-wide targets and the Group’s transparency in the corporate responsibility topics identified as relevant.
