Support for diversity and integration as part of the “Experience Diversity” campaign.
In fall 2024, Arvato Systems took the unveiling of its new corporate logo as an opportunity to launch a campaign under the heading “Experience Diversity”. The campaign involves supporting local clubs and associations at Arvato Systems locations and in customer regions that are committed to promoting solidarity, inclusion, integration, and diversity. Case in point: Dresden, where “DSCVOLLEY Kids” has been launched to offer inner-city kids a volleyball experience focused on social participation and cohesion.
DSCVOLLEY Kids is a joint project between Arvato Systems and the volleyball professionals at Dresdener Sportclub that seeks to open up new prospects, especially for underserved children and youths, through sports and community. Besides introducing them to the joys of volleyball, the project will have a special focus on social interaction. The partners’ efforts are geared towards supporting key topics like integration, identification, inclusion and social responsibility.
‚Fun access to a diverse community’
The DSCVOLLEY Kids project comprises six training sessions per season, in which children and young people play the sport under the guidance of experienced DSC volleyball coaches and players. The idea is to combine the joy of sports with a sense of belonging and community for the participants. One highlight of the program: The training groups are also invited to attend Dresdner SC’s Bundesliga home games, experience exclusive tours of the club’s facilities, be part of the games as run-in kids, and meet the professional players in person.
“DSCVOLLEY Kids is all about empowering children and encouraging social interaction,” says Arvato Systems Group CEO Matthias Moeller. “DSC and Arvato Systems have joined forces to offer children and youths fun access to a diverse community. The program serves as an anchor point for regular interactions, which ultimately forms an important basis for social cohesion. This is a trend-setting and long-term project that we are very happy to carry out together with the DSC as part of our ‘Experience Diversity’ initiative.”
DSC Volleyball Managing Director Sandra Zimmermann adds: “We see the partnership and joint campaign with Arvato Systems as something very special and a sign of Arvato Systems’ trust in the work we do. The upcoming measures give us a chance to give back to the community through our great sport of volleyball, and to launch a project for children and teens. I am sure that all of us will experience special moments during its course. We are looking forward to it and are grateful to Arvato Systems for integrating its campaign with our youth development program.”
