Arvato Systems Cooperates With ‘ReDI School of Integration’

The “ReDI School of Integration”  supports people with a migrant background, refugees and disadvantaged people who have an affinity for IT with their integration in the German job market. Arvato Systems has been cooperating with the initiative since last year. The students are working on actual projects at Arvato Systems, and employees are active as mentors.

Arvato Systems cooperates with the “ReDI School of Integration”. The initiative supports people with a migrant background, refugees and disadvantaged people who have an affinity for IT with their integration in the German job market. The diversified digital skill sets of the participants are sharpened in courses over a longer period of time, with a focus on developing tech skills, establishing of a professional network through events, cooperations with companies, and on learning soft skills through workshops and training. The “ReDI School of Integration” relies on three programs: the “Digital Career Program”, the “Digital Woman Program” and the “Kids & Youth Program”.

Kerstin Rehpöhler, Senior Manager Employer Branding & Recruiting at Arvato Systems, says: “When we first met the founder, Anne Riechert, we were so fascinated with the concept and visions of the ‘ReDI School of Integration’ that we wanted to support this great organization.” In addition to regular participation in the virtual ReDI job events, during which Arvato Systems has a chance to meet promising students and to have discussions about career and entry opportunities, the company has also been cooperating with the initiative in mentoring since last year. Students are able to work on real projects at Arvato Systems to gather first practical experience. Employees from Arvato Systems accompany them as mentors.
