The online service provider Relias, which is part of the Bertelsmann Education Group, supports thousands of organizations in the health and social care sector through its learning platforms, particularly in the United States. One of these organizations is Mental Health News Education, which supports people with autism, mental illness, and addiction. MHNE has now honored Relias with the Mental Health News Education Corporate Leadership Award.
The Bertelsmann Education Group company Relias, an education and workforce development partner to more than 12,000 health and social care organizations and approximately 4.5 million caregivers worldwide, was recently honored with the Mental Health News Education Corporate Leadership Award. In New York, the company was recognized by the US non-profit organization Mental Health News Education (MHNE) for its commitment to improving lives and promoting healthcare through online learning.
MHNE is a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with autism, mental illness, and substance use disorders. It selected Relias to receive this honor for its support of behavioral health communities by providing comprehensive training solutions, furthering excellence in patient care outcomes, and assuring regulatory compliance.

“Receiving this award is incredibly meaningful,” said Shawn Barber, Chief Product Officer at Relias. “It’s a testament to the effectiveness of our behavioral health solutions, which support every aspect of the workforce journey, from recruiting and onboarding to career growth and performance development — while ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.” Relias says it supports providers in retaining talent, increasing care quality, and reducing risk through a platform offering over 3,000 courses developed by in-house healthcare and adult learning experts, including specialized offerings in Behavioral and Community Health Solutions.
“We chose Relias for this award because of their profound impact on 12,000 healthcare and human services organizations and 4.5 million caregivers. Their comprehensive training solutions play a crucial role in fostering excellence in patient care outcomes and ensuring regulatory compliance across the industry,” said David said David Minot, Executive Director, Mental Health News Education. “Their dedication to improving the lives of the most vulnerable members of society and those who care for them truly sets them apart as a leader in the field.”
