Magazines for Listening

Subject: Media & Services
Country: France
Category: Project

Many articles from the French G+J publisher Prisma Media are available not only for reading but also for listening via Deezer, the most popular streaming service in France. Prisma Media has the service provider Infonity read some of the articles from its magazines and provide them as audio files. Thanks to this service, articles from the magazines "Voici", "Femme Actuelle", "Ça m’intéresse", "Capital" and "Business Insider" are available as audio files starting today.

Rolf Heinz, President Prisma Media, says: "The partnership between Prisma Media and Deezer opens up one more channel to our audience to access our content. With the help of Infonity, Prisma Media is the first media group with a presence on Deezer. Once again, this demonstrates our determination to always be one step ahead with our media." Deezer CEO Alexis de Gemini adds: "We are proud to welcome Prisma Media’s most successful publications. Deezer will be the only digital streaming service to offer the most important articles from the favorite magazines of millions of French people. This integration perfectly fits in with our strategy to develop new and original podcast content."

43 million songs that ten million active users per day listen to via the streaming service are already part of this content. Deezer is available in 180 countries worldwide; in France, it is the #1 service of its kind. The company was established in 2007 and has its headquarters in the French capital of Paris. Deezer is available via PC and all portable devices.
