RTL-Spendenmarathon: Total Donations Amount To €11.49 Million

Following the receipt of all donations, the final total of the 24th RTL-Spendenmarathon 2019 telethon has been announced: €11,491,418 – a new record. The donations will sustainably and purposefully support selected children’s relief projects in Germany and around the world. RTL carries all of the costs that are incurred by the longest-running charity show on German television and the work of the foundation. Hence, all of the funds raised are forwarded to the selected children’s relief projects without any deductions. “A heartfelt thank-you to all donors and supporters of ‘RTL – Wir helfen Kindern’. This is enormous evidence of trust. We will ensure that every single euro gets to those we care about: children in need. This record is also huge motivation for our big anniversary year,” said Bernd Reichart, Chairman of “Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e.V.” and CEO Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland.
