The youth unemployment rate in Spain is currently at 52 percent. Why even well-educated men and women can’t find work, and how large companies can promote the dual-training system in Spain to win the battle against unemployment, was the subject of a series of discussions at the "Diálogo Bertelsmann" hosted at the Espacio Bertelsmann in Madrid on June 24.

By actively seeking dialog with our stakeholders, and maintaining it through daily business contacts, public events, journalistic and other media channel exchanges and political involvement.
While our service centers, investor relations and press offices maintain excellent ties with customers, investors and journalists, our corporate liaison offices in Berlin and Brussels serve as Bertelsmann's centers of political expertise and contact. Both teams work to provide policymakers in Germany and Europe with the most relevant positions, data and information. Our goal is to maintain a transparent culture of communication on all policy levels and to keep debates open and objective.
Our Corporate Center
Bertelsmann's corporate centers also serve as meeting places for social dialog. Since 1975, the Bertelsmann Forum has hosted a variety of high-profile figures from the intellectual community to discuss the issues of our times at our Corporate Center in Gütersloh.
On international level, Bertelsmann is also represented in networks such as the UN's Global Compact and the Media CSR Forum. Here, we are able to interact with other organizations on issues such as sustainability and social commitment.
