‘Frag Finn’ Welcomes RTL Zwei As A New Member

For many years, RTL Zwei has been supporting various social and charity projects. With its membership in the nonprofit association “Frag Finn”, the Munich based broadcaster is now expanding its commitment to include the area of youth media protection and the promotion of media literacy. As a media company with a wide reach, RTL Zwei understands the living environments of young people and the central role of digital media in the daily life of children and families, the company announced. The responsible use of media and safe, age-appropriate online offerings are important aspects of the social discourse. RTL Zwei aims to combine this perspective with the vision of “Frag Finn” to create a safe and inspiring digital environment in which children can learn, play, and grow without worries. Thorsten Braun, Managing Director of RTL Zwei, remains closely connected with “Frag Finn” and is a member of the board of directors. Before, he worked for RTL Deutschland and chaired the association’s board of directors. In his new function at RTL Zwei, he intends to continue his long-standing commitment to “Frag Finn”: “Children need orientation, protection, and positive experiences in the digital realm. ‘Frag Finn’ has been providing precisely this reliable framework for many years,” said Braun. “As a media company with a strong reach, we have a special responsibility – and I am very pleased that we can now actively support and further develop this commitment with RTL Zwei as a member company.” Melanie Endemann, Chairwoman of the association’s board of directors, said: “We are delighted to welcome RTL Zwei as a new member company at ‘Frag Finn’.
