Previously unpublished photos from the Iron Maiden archives

Iron Maiden. Infinite Dreams offers a unique look at the band’s extraordinary career. Besides exclusive texts by former and current band members, the book also contains never-before-seen images from the Iron Maiden archives. For the first time, it documents the full story of the band, hailed in the 1980s as pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. On 352 pages and more than 600 images, readers will find iconic album covers, singles, posters, lyrics, work journals, guitars, drum kits, and stage props. The book also includes photographs by Ross Halfin and John McMurtrie, plus fascinating stories and behind-the-scenes insights from key band members and management. The foreword is written by Steve Harris, with an afterword by Bruce Dickinson.

Iron Maiden was formed in December 1975 and has since released 17 studio albums, 13 live albums, four EPs, and seven compilations. Their third album, The Number of the Beast (1982), has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide and ranks among the most successful heavy metal albums of all time. Over the past 50 years, Iron Maiden has sold over 90 million albums and played more than 2,000 concerts. Bruce Dickinson has been the band’s lead singer for more than three decades and also enjoys success as a solo artist, with seven albums of his own. He is also a trained airline pilot—and flies the band’s own aircraft, a Boeing 747-400 dubbed “Ed Force One.”
