Arvato Systems To Provide Services For Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have chosen Arvato Systems’ “Vidispine” solution. The American National Football League (NFL) team aims to streamline its media operations and get the option for cloud-based workflows.

The Las Vegas Raiders, a successful team of the American National Football League (NFL), have chosen Arvato Systems as a service provider. In the future, the NFL team will rely on Arvato Systems’ “Vidispine” solutions for their media asset management (MAM) to streamline its media operations and provide options for cloud-based workflows and AI media services.

The Las Vegas Raiders’ Silver & Black Productions team produces and archives a wide variety of media content, from game footage and player features to historical documentaries, for distribution across broadcast, in-stadium, digital and social media platforms. The Raiders were seeking a modern, flexible, cloud-native API-based system that offered custom workflows and integrations to streamline operations. It also needed to be able to integrate easily with other applications such as the NFL’s “Next Gen Stats” application. Additional requirements included integration with the “Helmut” production asset management (PAM) tools for Adobe Premiere from MoovIT, an Arvato Systems partner company, AWS cloud capabilities for on-prem or hybrid deployment (Arvato Systems is a long-term AWS partner), and future integration with AI media services such as facial recognition and more.

“The choice was clear”

Brad Phinney, SVP, Chief Experience Officer, Las Vegas Raiders, said: “When looking at our key requirements, what the ‘Vidispine’ portfolio was able to offer in addition to the protection and the searchability of our media assets made the choice was clear. The ‘Vidispine’ system does everything we need today plus makes us ready for future developments and functionality. Working with a vendor that has experience with sports media requirements, and specifically the NFL, was a major selling point.” Kurt Krinke, Vice President North America Sales for Arvato Systems’ “Vidispine” portfolio, said: “We are delighted that our solution was chosen by the Raiders and we look forward to making this project another success in the sports market.”
