Bertelsmann Chairman & CEO Thomas Rabe Additionally Appointed CEO of RTL Group
The Bertelsmann Supervisory Board supports the RTL Group Board of Directors' decision to appoint Thomas Rabe Chief Executive Officer of RTL Group as of today. Thomas Rabe will also remain Chairman & CEO of Bertelsmann.
Christoph Mohn, Chairman of the Bertelsmann Supervisory Board, emphasized: “RTL Group is Bertelsmann's most important division in terms of revenue and profit. In this respect the Supervisory Board very much welcomes the fact that Thomas Rabe will take over the management of RTL Group following the resignation of Bert Habets. At the same time, Thomas Rabe will remain Chairman & CEO of Bertelsmann. Under his leadership, Bertelsmann is making excellent strategic and business progress.”
