BMG Releases New Rita Ora Album

In mid-July, BMG released “You & I,” the third studio album by superstar Rita Ora. It is the artist’s first album since she joined BMG in 2022. Three singles have already preceded the new album: “You Only Love Me,” “Praising You” and “Don’t Think Twice.” The hit “Praising You” is a collaboration with famous fellow BMG artist Fatboy Slim.

BMG international star Rita Ora, one of the most popular British singers of recent years, has released her third studio album to date, “You & I.” It is the first album by the singer-songwriter, who hails from what is now Kosovo, since she signed with BMG in 2022. The artist co-wrote every song on “You & I”; the album was produced by Oak Felder, who has worked with the likes of Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, and Usher. According to BMG, “You & I” is a “ deeply personal body of work intrinsically linked to a new stage in Ora’s life and career.” It’s a diary-like project, she says, with each song representing the different chapters of a relationship and what it feels like to fall in love with someone, with infectious tracks destined for the dancefloor.

“The ‘You’ in You & I represents more than just the man I love,” says Rita Ora, commenting on the release. “It’s my mum, my friends, my fans, and in some ways, it represents the relationship I have with myself. This album has been like my diary for the past two years, and I’m so thrilled you finally get to hear it.” The new album includes the previously released singles ‘Don’t Think Twice,’ ‘Praising You (feat. Fatboy Slim)’ and ‘You Only Love Me,’ which together have accumulated nearly 100 million global streams.

Rita Ora has placed 13 songs in the British Top 10, with four songs going to number one in the British singles charts: “Hot Right Now,” “How We Do (Party),” “R.I.P.,” and “I Will Never Let You Down.” The 32-year-old singer and actress, who hails from present-day Kosovo, holds the record for the most hits placed in the British Top 10 singles chart by a British artist and is one of the most-played stars of the 21st century in the U.K. In the United States, her acclaimed singles and star-studded collaborations have earned her a number three Billboard Hot 100 song, seven Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs Chart, five of which reached Number One, and six Top 20 singles on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart.
