Mediengruppe RTL And Vodafone Expand Partnership

Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and Vodafone plan to clearly and sustainably expand their partnership. Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland’s content portfolio will be increasingly integrated with the streaming and linear TV offers of Vodafone. TV Now Premium, to be renamed RTL+, will be available starting in 2022 via Giga TV.

Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and Vodafone will sustainably expand their partnership. The goal is to make the content of RTL Deutschland in streaming and linear TV available to the more than 13 million TV customers of Vodafone, as Mediengruppe RTL announced. The companies also agreed to jointly develop technological possibilities for playing out target-group oriented advertising and expanding the volume of custom-tailored individual offers for users. The customers of Giga TV, Vodafone’s TV and entertainment platform, will benefit from the sustainable cooperation through the possibility to access RTL Deutschland’s content at a considerably larger scale and for a longer period of time in the Giga TV media library. Additionally, the offer of RTL channels in Vodafone’s cable network will be unified nationwide. TV Now Premium, to be renamed RTL+, will be available from 2022 as an app on Giga TV.
