Special Honors For Jason Aldean
The BMG country star has been honored with 4x Platinum and the SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award.
With 30 No. 1 hits on the U.S. Country radio charts, nearly 20 billion streams, and more than 20 million albums sold, BMG country star Jason Aldean’s success is unmatched. Now, the “ACM Artist of the Decade” and three-time “Entertainer of the Year” has been honored in Nashville as one of the most streamed artists of all time, receiving the prestigious SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award. The honor is presented by the independent rights management organization SoundExchange.
The SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award was presented by Marc Rucker, Associate Director of Artist & Industry Relations at SoundExchange, who noted that numerous Aldean tracks have secured spots in SoundExchange’s Top 1000 most-streamed tracks of all time, including hits like “You Make It Easy,” “Dirt Road Anthem,” and “Big Green Tractor.”
4x Platinum for debut album ‘Jason Aldean’
Adding to the celebration, Jon Loba, President, Frontline Recordings, The Americas, BMG, surprised the singer with a 4x Platinum plaque commemorating the success of his self-titled debut album. “Jason’s career is the definition of consistency and connection,” said JoJamie Hahr, Executive Vice President, Recorded Music, BMG Nashville. “From his very first album to his latest tour, he continues to break records, push boundaries, and bring people together through his music. We’re proud to be a part of his incredible journey.”
Jason Aldean is currently on his “Full Throttle” tour in the U.S. and recently announced the international extension of the tour, with first dates in New Zealand and his first performances in Australia since 2016. The “Full Throttle World Tour” will kick off its international dates in 2026.
