‘Toggo Radio’ Goes Live

With today’s launch of “Toggo Radio,” Super RTL introduces Germany’s first nationwide children’s and family radio station. The digital audio service can be received on all the familiar Toggo platforms. Whether with a morning show for children or the daily children’s news as well as music and radio plays, the station offers varied entertainment for young and old.

“Toggo Radio” has arrived and with it Germany’s first national children’s and family radio station. Starting today, “Toggo Radio – Your Morning” (Euer Morgen) the “Daily Toggo” (Täglich Toggo) children’s news, as well as contemporary music and radio plays will provide diverse entertainment for young and old. The digital audio offer from Super RTL, Germany’s children’s entertainment market leader, can be received on the familiar Toggo platforms. These include the Toggo app, the website toggo.de all and the Toggo Fire TV app. Toggo fans can also listen to their new radio station on smart speaker devices and the popular radio platforms. The station’s Managing Director Claude Schmit had already announced the launch of the new children’s radio station to mark Super RTL’s 25th anniversary in April in an interview with BENET.

True to its slogan of “get up and go,” “Toggo Radio – Your Morning,” helps children and families start the day together in good form, every weekday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. during the school holidays. Its program lineup is as colorful as the Toggo world itself: Young listeners can request their wake-up song and start the day on an upbeat. An original comedy series provides morning laughs and the daily “knowledge kick” explains fascinating facts in 30 seconds. The team behind the microphones provides even more entertainment: The morning show is hosted by the familiar, popular Toggo presenters Simón Albers and Florian Ambrosius. New to the team is Vanessa Civiello, who most recently worked as a presenter for Inselradio Mallorca and before that gained experience at Big FM and Radio Galaxy.

Another highlight of the program lineup is the “Daily Toggo” (Täglich Toggo) children’s news, which airs on the hour throughout the day, and every half hour in the morning. Knowledge about the news, current topics and trends, as well as important events in world affairs, are explained in a child-friendly way that is suitable for children. In the afternoon, children and families can relax with “Your radio plays – open your ears and listen to the story!” Between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., there are great adventures for the little ones, including “Dragons,” “The Three Question Marks,” “TKKG,” or “Bibi and Tina.” In addition, music from the international charts, German-language songs to sing along to, and the best children’s songs provide the right mix of family-friendly music for young and old.
