UFA Establishes New Unit UFA Good Games
Label for entertainment concepts, target groups, and revenues in the e-sports, gaming, and creator industry.
UFA, according to the company one of the leading production companies for TV and streaming in the German-speaking region, has established a new label: UFA Good Games (UFAGG) will develop cross-platform entertainment concepts for new target groups, platforms, and clients. They will be implemented by UFA, which is part of RTL Group via Fremantle. The aim is to combine the exciting talents and digital communities of the continuously growing e-sports, games, and creator industry with the longstanding expertise of UFA in development and production across all genres: from entertainment and show to documentary, factual, or fiction – daily, weekly, or as an event. UFA Good Games launched on May 1, 2025. The new UFA label is managed by Jörg Adami, most recently CEO and Co-Founder of “esports player foundation”, and Christian Körner, longstanding RTL Deutschland Spokesman and most recently Director Communications & Public Affairs at UFA.
Development of UFA Creator Academy is the first project
“We want to fill new stages with new entertainment offers and develop new target groups and revenue models,” said Sascha Schwingel, CEO UFA. “To this end, we carefully analyzed the developments in the e-sports, gaming, and creator industry. Linking this highly vital ecosystem sustainably with our own expertise and network is a creatively and economically exciting project. In addition to their shared vision, Jörg and Christian bring along excellent expertise and networks that complement each other perfectly for this task. I wish them both every success in their new roles.” The development of an UFA Creator Academy is the first project of UFA Good Games and will launch this year. The goal is to help young people who dream of becoming a creator make their dream come true.
