The new format “D’ailleurs” has been available on 6Play since yesterday. The magazine is broadcast, with subtitles, in sign language and covers various topics based on events for deaf people. Groupe M6 continues to support people with disabilities with a new format: After “Le 10 Minutes”  – the first weekly news magazine in France that is exclusively and originally conceived and broadcast in sign language – the broadcasting group yesterday started broadcasting “D’ailleurs” on its digital online platform 6Play. The new magazine is also broadcast in sign language, with subtitles, and covers various topics based on events for deaf people. For instance, the first edition focuses on the World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf, which is currently taking place in Paris.

“D’ailleurs” is presented by the journalists Sandy Mercurio and Marylène Charrière, who are both deaf themselves. The format is also supported by the Fondation Handicap Malakoff Médéric. In 2017, Groupe M6 committed to equipping workplaces for the disabled, employing at least ten more people with disabilities, expanding the diversity of its employees and, at the same time, using its own programs and formats to educate against prejudices and exclusion.
