Live Stream from the Blue Sofa: ‘Reinhard Mohn – Ein Jahrhundertunternehmer’

Many great writers have taken a seat on the Blue Sofa, and many great works have been presented there. On Wednesday, June 9, 2021, the well-known literary format will be devoted to a new book about Bertelsmann's post-war founder: “Reinhard Mohn – Ein Jahrhundertunternehmer” (“Reinhard Mohn - Entrepreneur, Leader, Visionary”), published by C. Bertelsmann. Its author, the distinguished corporate historian Joachim Scholtyseck, will be joined on the Blue Sofa by Thomas Rabe, Chairman & CEO of Bertelsmann, for a discussion moderated by the writer Amelie Fried.

While Scholtyseck will explain, among other things, how he arrived at his assessment of Mohn as an “Entrepreneur of the Century" and what Mohn's life's work consisted of, his conversation with Bertelsmann's CEO will also focus on building a bridge from history to today's global corporation and placing Mohn's work in a contemporary context.
