Groupe M6 once again organized the Prix MoJo and Bourse Jean Baptiste Dumas competitions to support students of journalism in France. The best young talents received fixed-term contracts for working in the TV, radio and online editorial offices of M6 and RTL Radio.

This year, Groupe M6 once again organized two competitions for students of journalism in France to support young reporters and, ideally, to win them for the company. The winners get the possibility to work for one year based on a fixed-term contract in one or several of the broadcaster’s TV, radio or online editorial offices. The student Asma Mehnana has won the Prix MoJo and can look forward to her next year. With this third round of the award, which Groupe M6 first organized in 2017 to find young journalism talents who organize content for TV, the Internet and social media via their smart phones. MoJo stands for “Mobile Journalistes”. Nicolas de Tavernost, Président du directoire of Groupe M6, presented the award together with Stéphane Gendarme, Directeur de l’information M6, Basma Bonnefoy, Secrétaire Générale de la rédaction M6, and M6 journalist and presenter Nathalie Renoux.

The talent competitions of RTL Radio also gave young media makers the chance to submit an example of their skills. The station awarded editorial internships for students of journalism for the 25th time with the Bourse Jean Baptiste Dumas scholarship. This year, Jacques Esnous, Directeur de l’information de RTL, Sébastien Fol, Directeur de la rédaction “Le Point”, and Catherine Mangin, Directrice adjointe de l'information de RTL, congratulated first place winner Thomas Dullin. While he will enforce the RTL Radio editorial offices for one year, the second and third place winners received two and three month internships. RTL Radio recently also announced the winners of the fifth #RTLChallenge Journalisme Numérique competition,  which is dedicated to digital journalism.
